Terms and Conditions


1.1) All persons wishing to book a pitch at PlayBall must register on the website by providing all details if requested.

1.2) Pitches are allocated on a first come first served basis.

1.3) To qualify for discounts for school/community groups or through the NICSSA membership scheme, all users must provide evidence of belonging to a particular category. (Please contact the PlayBall team for a full list of which groups qualify.)

1.4) Only one pitch is allocated per evening for schools/community groups and one pitch for NICSSA members.  Once these pitches become full, discounts cannot be offered on other pitches.


2.1) Payment details are entered by the user at the time of booking; however no monies are collected by PlayBall until 48 hours before a booking is completed.


3.1) All users have the right to cancel a booking at any stage until payment is transacted 48 hours prior to a booking.

3.2) PlayBall reserve the right to cancel a pitch booking or block booking for any of the following reasons:

            3.2.1) Repeated rude abusive behaviour, racial or discrimatory comments to staff or other guests.

            3.2.2) Behaviour likely to affect the enjoyment of other guests or likely to endanger staff or other guests.

            3.2.3) Fighting or threatening behaviour.

3.2.4) Repetitive cancellations by a user for block bookings.

3.3) PlayBall reserve the right to cancel a booking/bookings at its discretion.  However, in the event of PlayBall cancelling a booking/bookings for reasons not related to the client, all monies paid would be returned or an alternative date offered.

3.3.1) Force Majeure – in the event of a war, flood or any other event outside the control of PlayBall, PlayBall shall not be held liable and will return all monies to the client should the booking not take place.


We will compensate you for any loss or damage you may suffer if we fail to carry out our obligations under this Agreement or to a reasonable standard or breach any duties imposed on us by law (including if we cause the death or personal injury to you by our negligence) unless the loss or damage is attributable to:

      a. your own fault; or

      b. a third party unconnected with our provision of services under  

          this Agreement; or

      c. events which neither we nor our suppliers could have foreseen or

          forestalled even if we had taken all reasonable care.

Our liability to compensate you for any loss or damage (in case of loss or damage other than death or personal injury) is limited to a reasonable amount having regard to such factors as whether the damage was due to negligent act or omission by us.


5.1) The client shall become liable if as a result of the actions of the client or its guests properly belonging to PlayBall becomes damaged, lost or stolen.
